Part of the money we raised this past July in Brian's 4th annual golf scramble (BAM IV),

allows us to work with the Fallen & Forgotten Angel Tree programs again this year.

These are the programs that try to fill the wish lists of the disadvantaged children

that live in our community and have not adopted by someone in the

2007 Salvation Army's "Angel Tree" program.

We will provide free alterations for the children's slacks and hope to add

shoes to our enterprise this year.

The Salvation Army does a great job getting clothes, games, toys and a variety of gifts

donated from the manufacturers, however, they always run out of the larger shoe

sizes for boys and girls in the first couple of days.

While there are a few things that can be subsituted for the girls, there is nothing

for the older boys. It is so sad to know that these kids, with so little to look forward to,

can't at least wake up on Christmas to a few nice things.
